Fantastic stay! The location was perfect, just minutes from the airport. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and the spa room was absolutely amazing. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, with a super comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Loved the convenience of parking right in front of the room and how easy check-in and check-out were. I Would highly recommend a stay at The Commodore.

The rooms were nice , clean and had everything we needed. The young lady on the desk was very friendly and accommodating. We called and asked for an early check in, she done everything to make sure it happened. For that I was grateful. The beds are so comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed in a triple room, and it was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The room was well-equipped. The kitchenette with microwave, toaster, bowls, cups ... was definitely a plus.

Our room had an unsuite with no place to put anything, a light and fan which go on automatically. Not great for middle of the night bathroom visits. Fan and light take ages to turn off! King size bed was a bonus. We booked at a good rate but this was questioned not once but twice by admin. By phone and in person even though we had email confirmation! Restaurant is good and on premises. Prices especially are very high.

Great hotel, great location and restuarant was extremely lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly. I asked for a map of Mt Gambier and reception explained where we were and highlighted how to get to some tourist spots. I asked one of young cleaners where did she think I could get my nails done as I needed some work and she was very helpful suggesting two places. I did go to the Big W centre and got them done there. Will definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I came here for Valentine’s Day dinner, and the restaurant was incredibly busy, yet the staff made such an effort to ensure everyone received quality service despite the pressure they must’ve been under. The positive demeanor of the staff on a night like that is enough for me to want to return. The quality of the food and drink didn’t let us down either

Excellent hotel with nicely appointed, exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms (king bed was sublime), great breakfast and friendly, attentive staff. No request was too much trouble, and the team were always friendly and greeted you warmly anytime you were in the lobby / restaurant / bar area. My first choice when staying in Mt Gambier for work or fun!

Every room is taken care of down to the details, pristine. I stayed two nights at the Commodre in different rooms. The dedication of the team here flows through every aspect of the venue, from reception to dining to cleaning and all other important parts of a well run system. You won’t be short a smiling face or a wonderfully kept room. The pictures of the venue online match perfectly to the experience. Would stay here again!
